Windgate Farm owner recalls Bath resident Carmine Fusco, first person in Lehigh Valley and Pennsylvania, to die from COVID-19

Pennsylvania – and the Lehigh Valley – saw the first death from coronavirus Wednesday.
Carmine Fusco from Bath passed away at age 55 at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill.
He was part of a large family from New Jersey Three members of the family have died so far from COVID-19. Fusco’s mother died Wednesday, just hours after him, and his sister died last week. Other family members are reportedly hospitalized at this time.
Lehigh Valley Public Media caught up with Fusco’s friend and business partner in a horse-training farm in Northampton County by phone today. WLVR’s Jen Rehill has more.
