Many of the races in the Pennsylvania House have been called. In the Lehigh Valley, candidates Ann Flood and Milou Mackenzie recently kept Republican control of two House seats being vacated by incumbent lawmakers who chose not to seek re-election.
In other House races in the Valley, there were few surprises.
Votes are still being counted, but the Associated Press called several races including the 132nd for Mike Schlossberg and 134th for Ryan Mackenzie; the 137th for incumbent Joe Emrick; and the 183rd for Rep. Zach Mako and 187th for Representative Gary Day.
