The Wind Creek Event Center will be the Lehigh Valley’s newest COVID-19 mass vaccination site. The space is partnering with the Bethlehem Health Bureau to help reach those seeking vaccinations under the newly expanded 1A category beginning Feb. 1.
In a statement, Bethlehem Mayor Bob Donchez said the site will be used to vaccinate people aged 65 and older with underlying health conditions. Appointments are needed and can be scheduled with the city’s health department as more vaccines become available.
The Bethlehem Health Bureau will be prioritizing appointments for the City of Bethlehem, Northampton County and Lehigh County residents as well as individuals living in areas not serviced by a local public health department.
When more vaccines become available, the Bethlehem Health Bureau will post a pre-registration form on its website.
