Charlie Dent served nearly 14 years in the US Congress, as a Republican, until he stepped down in 2018.  Representing a district including Allentown where he was born, he sometimes clashed with President Trump.

And after leaving office, he’s emerged as a prominent media commentator and thought leader for what remains of the moderate wing of the Republican Party.
