Gov. Tom Wolf announced on March 15 he will lift many restrictions on restaurants and other businesses beginning April 4, Easter Sunday.

Listen to the story.

For months, people have not been able to simply watch a game and have a beer at a favorite bar in Pennsylvania.

That will change come the first week of April.

Bars and restaurants will also be able to host up to 75% of maximum capacity, up from the current maximum of 50%.

Under the plan, gyms, casinos, movie theaters, malls and other businesses will also be allowed to run at 75% capacity starting April 4.

But Wolf emphasized that the easing of restrictions will only be allowed if people continue to wear masks and stay 6 feet apart in public spaces.
