According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the state recorded nearly 1,000 new COVID-19 cases for the 24-hour period ending at midnight July 27.
It’s the highest case count since May, and with coronavirus cases rising again, Northampton County is reminding residents of a free drive-through center for COVID-19 vaccinations and testing.
The center is located outside the Coordinated Health building at 3100 Emrick Boulevard in Bethlehem Township.
Vaccinations are by appointment only for county residents age 12 and up. You can make an appointment through the Lehigh Valley Health Network website at LVHN.org/appointments
or by calling LVHN’s vaccine hotline at 833-584-6283.
Testing for COVID-19 is available to county and non-county residents without an appointment. Those getting tested should bring a photo ID and an insurance card.
The center is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; and 2-6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
