Musikfest now has a new app that event-goers can use to navigate the mostly free music festival.  Not only will it provide lineup information, but safety updates as well.

Listen to the story.

Those heading to Musikfest can check out the new app to see the schedule for more than 500 performances by artists, bands, and comedians.

“Because everything was a little bit more last minute this year with Musikfest than in a normal year, the Music Fest app is a great resource,” said Kassie Hilgert, chief executive officer at ArtsQuest, the non-profit organization behind the event.

Not only does the app offer lineup details, but it has the capability to send out health notifications from Bethlehem Health Director Kristen Wenrich

“We’re able to push out messaging such as if you’re not feeling well make sure that you’re staying at home, and again, encouraging festival goers if they aren’t yet vaccinated to get vaccinated,” Wenrich said.

The Musikfest app is available on both iTunes and the Google Play Store.
