Allentown’s Blues, Brews and Barbecue Festival will return for its 14th year Saturday. And it will feature more than 15 performers and over 50 vendors.
This year’s headliner is Mr. Sipp the Mississippi Blues Child.
He will be joined by a wide variety of performers on five separate stages. The one-day event runs from noon to 10 p.m., and, along with a healthy sampling of the blues, there will be craft vendors, beer tents and lots of local barbecue.
There will be an area for families, too, with performances featuring local children’s folk singer Dave Fry.
The festival will be held along Hamilton Street between Sixth and Seventh streets, as well as along Allentown’s ArtsWalk.
It’s presented by the Downtown Allentown Business Alliance and attendance is free.
