People in the LGBT community in the Lehigh Valley face barriers in terms of accessing healthcare and that’s led to health disparities. That’s according to a survey released this week by the Bradbury Sullivan LGBT Community Center in Allentown released data this week.

Two federal pandemic unemployment compensation programs are set to expire at the end of the month. State officials are trying to get the word out that there are still other options for help in Pennsylvania.

With a surge in coronavirus cases in the commonwealth, Lehigh Valley high school students scheduled to take college entrance exams this month had their tests canceled. Some may not be able to reschedule their ACTs and SATs until the spring.

Pennsylvania state parks are closing their doors to some out of state residents due to the pandemic. They’ll need to have a negative COVID test within 72 hours or complete a two-week quarantine upon entering the Commonwealth.
