Lehigh Valley Health Network recently added two community clinics in addition to its mass drive-through vaccination sites as a part of an effort to vaccinate more than 36,000 people each week.

Listen to the story.

The two high volume community vaccination clinics require appointments and are located at the former AC Moore store in Whitehall Township and the old Sears building in Lower Nazareth Township.

Terry Berger, an administrator for Infection Control and Prevention at LVHN, oversees the sites.

“So the crowds have been consistent. They are to wait in their car for 15 minutes, so that they’re not standing in line for long periods of time. We’ve got an ample observation area for 15 minutes after the shot. So there are no walk-ins. Everything is scheduled by appointment. But again, there’s lots of availability,” Berger says.

People can book appointments on MyLVHN.org or by calling 888-402LVHN, she says..

LVHN is still holding drive-through vaccine events at Dorney Park and Northampton County Community College as well as offering vaccines at their hospitals.
