ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Some Lehigh Valley residents can start scheduling their fourth dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Lehigh Valley Health Network announced this week that immunocompromised individuals may now make appointments to get another jab — five months after their last booster shot.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the additional booster dose against COVID-19 is intended to help enhance or restore protection that may have decreased over time.
LVHN has sign-ups available on the health network’s patient portal.
