Pennsylvania will lift COVID mitigation orders on May 31, Memorial Day according to Gov. Tom Wolf, who, on May 4, announced the full reopening of restaurants and bars.

Pennsylvania is preparing to ease COVID restrictions this weekend. Bars and restaurants can serve alcohol without food, lift curfews and increase capacity. But the move comes as COVID cases are on the rise and service employees may not be vaccinated yet.

As Pennsylvania businesses are set to loosen public health measures, an uptick in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations has some public health officials concerned.

Restaurant and bar owners are applauding the Wolf administration’s decision to lift certain pandemic-related restrictions that have been in place for months.

Lehigh Valley Health Network has made it a little easier to visit a loved one in the hospital by easing some of its COVID-19 restrictions. Citing a decline in new cases across the region LVHN welcomes back hospital visitors, with some guidelines:
