Latinos are one of the hardest-hit communities in the COVID-19 pandemic. But local health officials are concerned about barriers to vaccines for members of the Lehigh Valley’s Latino community.

A Lehigh Valley organization is teaming up with a local health network in an effort to boost access to the vaccine in communities that may need it most.

The vaccine rollout is underway, but that doesn’t mean everyone wants to get it. There’s increasing hesitancy in the Hispanic and Latino population about the vaccine’s safety according to recent polling by the Kaiser Family Foundation.
