On February 26th, the state health secretary uttered the word “coronavirus” for the first time publicly.
Over the next several weeks, Pennsylvanians experienced a series of unprecedented events.
Schools were closed for the year. Businesses were shut down. And people were ordered to stay home.
Drawing on reporting from WITF’s journalists and public radio stations across the state over the last two months, WITF has produced a documentary looking back at how it all unfolded.
