Melt is located just over the Northampton Street Bridge that connects Easton to Phillipsburg.

“We start off with a vanilla rim rolled in crushed graham crackers,” says Wendy Parcell, describing one of the ice cream sundaes on her menu. It’s called “Keep Calm and Eat Cheesecake.”

“It’s topped with an entire slice of cheesecake,” Parcell says.

Her decadent creations are inspired by her kids. Her shop has 12 signature sundaes including toppings ranging from Gummy Bears™ to Pop Tarts™.

Parcell, a former Warren County 911 dispatcher, says she hopes the shop will give downtown Phillipsburg a tourism boost.

“I really feel like Phillipsburg could build itself up. I’m hoping it will bring other businesses to the area as well.”

Later this summer, Melt plans to open its space to host parties and community events and to add cotton candy ice cream burritos to the menu.
