allentown health bureau

The Allentown Health Bureau’s vaccine clinic at the Allentown Fairgrounds is now open to anyone 18 and over.

Officials with the Allentown Health Bureau say vaccine appointments are filling up as quickly as they become available. But what happens when someone cancels? Or worse, just doesn’t show up.

The Allentown Health Bureau has administered more than 15,000 vaccines so far, and thousands more are scheduled this week. But there is still concern communities of color are on the fence about getting the shot.

Allentown is out of COVID-19 vaccines. Between winter weather delays and a state Moderna vaccine shortage, the city is dry causing the city to cancel all appointments for the rest of the week.
