PA primary

We’re finally here. May 18 is Pennsylvania’s primary Election Day, the day to vote your party for the candidate who will run November’s general election.

Pennsylvania’s municipal primary election is here. One of the highest-watched races in the Lehigh Valley is for the Allentown mayoral seat.

Election security was called into question like never before in the 2020 general election. A primary, in an off-year, won’t get nearly as much buzz, but that doesn’t mean officials aren’t making sure all votes are secure.

Today’s the last day to register to vote in the May 18 primary election. And from mayors to council members, judges to commissioners, political scientists say these state and local races deserve just as much attention as a presidential bid.

The Lehigh County District Attorney’s office announced charges yesterday against an Allentown election judge who is accused of altering ballots in the primary election earlier this year.
