Diners, those brightly lit destinations for coffee, conversation and comfort food that won’t break the bank, are expanding their regional reach with two new iterations set to open in the coming weeks.

The state House wants bars and restaurants to be able to sell to-go mixed drinks, but does not want to let grocery stores and beer distributors sell pre-mixed cocktails in a can.

Come Memorial Day capacity limits will be lifted in Pennsylvania. Keeping everyone safe seems to still be the top priority.

Pennsylvania will lift COVID mitigation orders on May 31, Memorial Day according to Gov. Tom Wolf, who, on May 4, announced the full reopening of restaurants and bars.

Pennsylvania is preparing to ease COVID restrictions this weekend. Bars and restaurants can serve alcohol without food, lift curfews and increase capacity. But the move comes as COVID cases are on the rise and service employees may not be vaccinated yet.
