BETHLEHEM, Pa. – For the next two weekends, Oktoberfest at the SteelStacks Campus is back.
The event brings all things German from schnitzel to lederhosen to Bethlehem.
The free outdoor festival is known for serving up authentic German food and beer. To make that easy, Biergartens will be stationed around the campus.
Activities include a David Hasselhoff contest, which will have participants show off their best impersonation of the famed “Baywatch” actor.
Events include a weiner dog parade, a drag queen comedy show and lots of live music.
A style of music that pairs well with ‘’bier and brats’’ is polka music. Philadelphia-based polka band, “Polkadelphia” kicks off the festivities at 5 p.m. on Friday at the PNC Plaza outdoor stage.
