EASTON, Pa. – Outdoor dining is coming back to the streets of Easton starting Saturday.

Easton Mayor Sal Panto said they’re calling it “Easton Alfresco,” and its origin-story involves the pandemic.

Listen to the story.

“The al fresco dining was meant to help the restaurants during the COVID period, and we wanted to continue it for another year and maybe even longer,” said Panto. “But this year is to help the restaurants that had a real tough two years.”

The city said River Grille, The Standard, and Two Rivers Brewing are some of the restaurants that will expand dining to the outdoors this year.

Easton Alfresco is scheduled to end in late October.
