ALLENTOWN, Pa. – St. Luke’s University Health Network is working to make sure no child goes hungry this summer.
For the fourth consecutive year, the network will provide free lunches to children at sites in Allentown and Quakertown.
The Summer Meals Program runs from June 20 to Aug. 26th.
The Allentown program is based at Sacred Heart Hospital, 421 W. Chew. St. Children can pick up free lunches there from noon to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday in the second-floor cafeteria.
The program will provide fresh produce on Thursdays for kids to share with their families. And on Fridays, bags of non-perishable food will be available to take home for the weekends.
The Quakertown site is at the St. Luke’s Quakertown campus at 1021 Park Ave. Meals will be given from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
