Slightly more Pennsylvanians were actively looking for a job last month compared to June, according to the latest state unemployment numbers released Friday.

$26 billion in unemployment claims have been delivered since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. But as WLVR’s Hayden Mitman reports, 10 percent of eligible applicants are still waiting.

Unemployment benefits applications numbers are creeping up again in Pennsylvania, as the pandemic recovery wobbles.

Many Pennsylvania educators and school employees may not have received unemployment benefits since stay at home orders began.
